22/07 Spain and Serbia dismantle Serbian marijuana trafficking network. 43 members of a Serbian organised crime group have been arrested for their involvement in producing and distributing marijuana and hashish.
22/07 350 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a coffee bean shipment from Guatemala were seized by the Greek police at the port of Piraeus. The drugs have an estimated street value of 10 million euros. No arrests have been taken place yet.
23/07 International police seized more than 15,000 tons of illegal food and beverages in a 72-country law enforcement operation jointly coordinated by Interpol and Europol. Operation OPSON X has taken place from December 2020 to June 2021 and, although not directly targeted in the operation, enforcement actions also turned up illicit items, including fake test kits for COVID-19, HIV and malaria, cigarettes, weapons and ammunition, bush meat and other products of wildlife crime.
24/07 Albanian police seize 6.5 kg of cocaine shipped from Latin America. The drugs were found in a shipment containing bananas.
25/07 Over €130 million in cocaine found in Costa Rica sweet potato shipment to the Netherlands. A total of 1,760 kilograms of cocaine was seized at the port of Rotterdam.
