27/08 Two people were arrested in a tik (crystal methamphetamine) bust in Cape Town on Thursday night, Western Cape police said. The raid in Killarney Gardens, Milnerton yielded 11 bags of the drug, weighing approximately 20kg.

29/08 NDLEA arrests man with 87 wraps of cocaine. The Nigerian National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has intercepted a drug kingpin, Mr Ibeh Ejike, at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja for ingesting 87 wraps of cocaine.
29/08 The Dominican National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), with the support of the Specialized Port Security Corps, seized 57 packages of cocaine during an interdiction operation carried out in the Port of Haina Oriental, Santo Domingo Oeste municipality. DNCD officers and military personnel inspected dozens of containers that would be shipped to Philadelphia, United States. After several hours of intense search, with high-tech equipment, it was possible to discover a double compartment in one of the containers and thwart the shipment of the drug.
