Last week, SEACOP participated in a hybrid regional exercise organised by CRIMARIO, with the participation of different institutions from Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
During five days, participants took part in various practical exercises from the Naval Base of the National Navy based in Cartagena de Indias.
With this activity, the Maritime Intelligence Unit created during phase V of SEACOP were able to test the capabilities offered by the IORIS maritime platform provided by Crimario.
š¤ Joining forces in the support of partner countries, our two EU projects offer invaluable support to strengthen the exchange of information and improve international cooperation on maritime security.
Many thanks to the CRIMARIO II Project for the invitation to participate in this important regional exercise. The combined capacities of the two projects will provide much strength to the three countries in the fight against illicit maritime trafficking.
