This week (June 10-14, 2024), SEACOP is organising a comprehensive mentoring in Praia, Cape Verde.
It brings together 14 trainees representing 7 key agencies: Judicial Police, Maritime Police, Fiscal Police, Coast Guard, Multinational Maritime Coordination Center, Praia Port, and the Maritime Information Collection Center. With two experienced trainers from our partner agency Maritime Analysis Operations Centre (MAOC-N), the trainees are undergoing capacity building for risk analysis on the transatlantic maritime vector with specific focus on
π Trends in cocaine trafficking in the Cape Verde and West #Africa regions
π Targeting Vessels of Interest through theoretical courses and practical exercises in maritime information analysis.
On Monday, the event was inaugurated by the National Director of Judicial Police, with esteemed guests including a representative from UNODC, a Spanish representative from the Guardia Civil, the Deputy Director of National Police, and the Director of the Maritime Information Collection Center.
