The Commission on Narcotics Drugs (CND), the responsible UN body providing guidance for the implementation of the international drug conventions, convened the week of 12 March for its 61st annual session in Vienna, bringing together policy makers and experts from UN Member States, international organisations and civil society.
A joint Cocaine Route Programme (CRP) and EU Action against Drugs and Organized Crime (EU-ACT) exhibition stand was set up to promote the work and achievements of both programmes as part of the EU’s holistic response to organised crime and drug trafficking.
During the CND week CORMS presented the updated CRP brochure and the new CRP video produced for this occasion.
In addition, the ongoing work and achievements of the CRP were presented during the CND side event on “European trans-regional responses to drug trafficking and organised crime” co-hosted by the EU and Portugal on 13 March.
