The National Police of Colombia, through the Antinarcotics Directorate in Development of the #Emerald Strategy in coordination with Operation Tayrona and with the support of the EU-funded SEACOP Project, has carried out four operations with the international agencies of French Customs, Tax Agency, Civil Guard, National Police of Spain, and CBP of the USA.
The seized drug -close to 2,500 kg of cocaine, is valued at more than 215 billion colombian pesos.
It intended to be sent to the Balkan cartel and Italian mafias by Colombian criminal networks.
SEACOP was directly involved in the coordination and execution of these important operations, particularly from the Latin America regional desk.
The crucial collaboration of Frontex was also commended by the authorities.
