Yesterday, Thursday 22 September, SEACOP’s Regional Coordinator for Latin America Alfredo Diaz Sanchez participated in the meeting of the Group of Experts on Maritime Traffic, an event organised in Lima, Peru by the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) of the Organisation of American States (OAS).
Participating delegations from Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay each commended the support provided by SEACOP to their respective countries.
During the conference, the group of experts discussed the new threats, modalities and maritime routes that are being faced globally.
For his part, SEACOP representative outlined the objectives pursued in all regions of implementation and the results expected in this phase V of the Project.
