Last week the SEACOP team in Latin America, together with the support of Maritime Analysis and Operations Centre (Narcotics) – MAOC (N) launched a regional initiative called “Threat and Case Studies” where all participating countries plan to exchange experiences with other partners in the region.
With these meetings, SEACOP aims to support the fight against organised crime by improving the exchange of information, by building trust between partners and by facilitating international cooperation.
Argentina 🇦🇷 initiated the first meeting with an opening by the Director of Intelligence and Criminal Investigation of the Argentinean Naval Prefecture, followed by an excellent presentation by PREFECTURA NAVAL ARGENTINA and Aduanas de Argentina (Customs).
These virtual meetings are scheduled to take place on a monthly basis, with each participating country deciding the specific topics to be discussed.
