In the framework of the SEACOP V project in West Africa, a training course on maritime intelligence began on Monday 27 February in Praia, Cape Verde 🇨🇻.
10 officers from the judicial police, customs, maritime police and coast guard are participating in this activity, which is being conducted by experts from French customs and MAOC-N.
It will help to set up the Cape Verde Maritime Intelligence Unit which will contribute to the fight against illicit maritime traffic.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Dr André Semedo, Director of the Cape Verde Judicial Police Training Centre.
