Last week, SEACOP conducted a training on intelligence gathering in the maritime context for 15 high-level officials from Servicio Nacional de Aduana del Ecuador (SENAE), the National Navy and the National Police.
Ecuador is one of the priority countries for SEACOP in Latin America, where numerous workshops, seminars and training have been held under the fifth phase of SEACOP.
Held at the Yacht Club Naval, the training was delivered by two Colombian experts from the Policía Nacional de Colombia and Armada Nacional de Colombia, as well as SEACOP Regional Coordinator for Latin America.
SEACOP’s next activity in Ecuador, scheduled in December, will consist of a key international event to combat maritime trafficking in the Pacific Area.
