- Insight Crime has published an analysis of Brazil’s role as a country of departure for cocaine to Africa, Asia and Europe with the port of Santos as a principal transatlantic shipping point.
- Reportedly raw materials for cocaine production and shipments from Colombia have increased. Drug traffickers have improved their smuggling techniques making it more complicated to stop the shipments.
